Overnight Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 9 Eggs beaten
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 slices bread broken into pieces
  • 1 1/2 tsp dijon mustard or 1/4 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp or mild cheddar
  • 1 lb pork sausage browned & drained
  • 4 -5 green onions chopped thin
  • 1 medium green pepper chopped
  • 8 oz white mushrooms thinnly sliced

Instructions

  1. Combine the above ingredients.
  2. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Store in refrigerator overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  4. Bake uncovered 45 minutes or until done and edges are lightly browned.
  5. Use knife to check doneness.
  6. Let sit 15 minutes before serving.
