Egg and Sausage Breakfast Casserol
Ingredients
- 1 lb pork breakfast sausage (or italian sausage)
- 8 Eggs
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 2 cup shredded cheddar
- 4 cup seasoned croutons
- 2 1/2 cup milk
- can cream of mushroom soup
Instructions
- Fry and drain sausage.
- Spray large rectangular casserole with nonstick spray. Place croutons on bottom and layer with cheese then sausage.
- Beat eggs, mustard and 2 cups milk. Pour over croutons/cheese/sausage.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Prior to baking, mix cream of mushroom soup with 1/2 cup of milk and pour over set casserole.
- Bake uncovered at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
