Overnight belgium waffles
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water lukewarm (105°F)
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 2½ teaspoon Yeast 1 package
- 2 cups Whole milk lukewarm (105°F)
- ½ cup Unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 eggs beaten lightly
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon Baking Soda
Instructions
- 8 hours prior: Combine water, sugar, yeast. Stand 10 minutes. Stir in milk, butter, salt. Beat in flour. Wrap bowl with plastic tightly for 8 hours.
- When ready to cook: Stir eggs, vanilla extract and baking soda into batter while waffle iron preheats.
- Use a brush to apply oil to the waffle iron between waffles. Do NOT use spray on oils.
