Overnight belgium waffles

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water lukewarm (105°F)
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2½ teaspoon Yeast 1 package
  • 2 cups Whole milk lukewarm (105°F)
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 eggs beaten lightly
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking Soda

Instructions

  1. 8 hours prior: Combine water, sugar, yeast. Stand 10 minutes. Stir in milk, butter, salt. Beat in flour. Wrap bowl with plastic tightly for 8 hours.
  2. When ready to cook: Stir eggs, vanilla extract and baking soda into batter while waffle iron preheats.
  3. Use a brush to apply oil to the waffle iron between waffles. Do NOT use spray on oils.
